Escape Hamster

So Emma has a hamster, named mouse, who has gotten quite good at getting out of his cage! He has figured out how to bounce his door open by holding onto the door with all four paws and popping the latch with his mouth. Iv caught him eveytime he has escaped since hes so tame, but I have been putting zip ties on his door to keep him in. Well, the other night he chewed through all his zip ties and managed to escape. We looked everywhere for him and couldent find him so we were thinking the dogs might have ate him :(

Well, I found him. He was nestled down in Emma's dress up toy chest! I even managed to get a picture of him even though he was much cuter in real life!

Crazy month

Its been kind of a crazy month! Joel just applied at Fibre so we are hoping something good will come of it. Joel was rear ended in the city circle while he was waiting for someone in the crosswalk. Insurance covered everything and he wasent hurt thankfully but we were without his car for 2 weeks while it was fixed. Then the window in my car wouldent stay up. The electric part in the window broke and cost us $250 to fix! Its just been one of those months! We are all healthy though (except for Emma had another bout of her stomach thing while we were camping).

May-July Update

So much has been going on I can barely keep up! I am absolutly loving being a mommy of 2! Everett is just the best baby! Hes such a happy little trooper and so laid back. He is just so content with being alive and loves his mommy :) He is a momma's boy to the max! At his last Doctors appt. he weighed in at over 17lbs! Nothing like Emma lol! Iv been blessed with an awesome healthy baby. Hes a big character and loves to make people laugh and His dimples could melt your heart!

Emma has been such a GREAT big sister! She loves him so much and wants to help all the time. She loves to make him smile. She is still active as ever, talks non stop and keeps me on my toes! She has been completly potty trained for quite a while now and its great! She has turned into a big daddy's girl since Everett was born and Joel has been around home more.

Joel graduated in June! He just got hired at Walgreens .... not what he wants but it will pay some bills while he looks for work. He was on the deans list every semester and recived the outstanding student award!

We have been up to all kinds of things this summer! Joel rented me a garden space on 32nd for Mothers day and Iam having so much fun with it! I planted corn, beans, peas, cucumbers, yellow squash, zuchinni, tons of differant tomatoes, yellow peppers, tons of bell peppers, onions, basil, chives, radishes and lettuce. Emma has fun going with me and comes home covered in dirt lol! We have done lots of swimming at the river! For the 4th of July we went camping at Grandmas property at Lake Mayfield. We had a garage sale last month and are planning to have another this month. For Jared's Birthday we all went to the beach and we were staying there for Mother's Day....... until I got the flu in the middle of the night! It was the worst and then Joel got it in the morning! We were soooo sick that we left early and it took us over 3 hours to get home because we had to stop so many times to throw up lol! What a great mothers day! Later Emma, mom and Jared got it. The only ones who dident get sick were brother Joel and Everett(thank God). Thats all I have time for right now and I plan to post pictures soon!
